The key task of the Archive Council is to determine strategic goals and tasks of progress for JESDA and make recommendations for their achievement. In accordance with its duties, the Council carries out the following:

• - co-ordination of the JESDA's work with depositors, helps increase their number and the intensity of collaboration;
• - Proposal of new ways of interaction with JESDA users; assists the advancement of the JESDA within the research and teacher community.
